Cover-Up Tattoos and New Chapters

Cover-up work is one of the most emotional parts of tattooing. People come with old tattoos connected to another version of themselves. Sometimes they want to forget. Sometimes they want to transform.

I approach cover-ups with honesty first. Not every idea is possible on every existing tattoo, and pretending otherwise only creates disappointment. I explain what can be done and why.

Then we build a smart design strategy: shape, density, contrast, movement, and placement. The goal is not only to conceal old lines but to create a new piece that feels intentional and beautiful.
